Speedy Fish – Stroke Development
‘Speedy Fish’ are exactly that at this stage of their swimming journey, where stroke development, safety and confident all increase exponentially and swimming skills are cemented for life. The children are becoming technically proficient swimmers while making new friends and having lots of fun – that’s what swimming’s all about, after all!
All EwSwim programs run in conjunction with NSW School Terms. Cost is $25 per class per child, term-fee is payable prior to the start of term.

DOLPHINS
Our Dolphins level now has a solid foundation to learn Freestyle and Backstroke arms along with learning bi-lateral side breathing. We are also introducing Breaststroke kick as well as continuing with dolphin kick, diving, collecting toys from the bottom and there is always a game to finish with just for fun!
PIRANHA
Our Piranha level has progressed to having the teacher out of the pool. We will continue fine-tuning our Freestyle and Backstroke technique as well as strengthen our Breaststroke kick drills. We will introduce Breaststroke arms and develop timing of the stroke. We will also practice racing dives, tumble turns and streamline push offs. Rhythm drills and varying swimming speeds will also be included.
SHARKS
Our Sharks level is the most advanced version of Stroke Development where we consistently work on developing and fine tuning all four strokes. This is where Butterfly drills will also be introduced. This class is faster paced than the Piranha level. It requires swimmers to maintain their techniques and rhythm over slightly longer distances and will be getting ready to move to squad training at a bigger pool.
